What is the process?

If you are already interested you can start with the New Client Form. You may also send a general inquiry through the "Contact" page and I will follow up with you to answer questions and discuss your needs.

  1. Fill out the New Client Form (10-15 minutes)
  2. I will follow-up with you within 24-72 hours to ask additional questions if needed and answer your questions. If we need more time, I will schedule a 30 minute free consultation, especially if you are unsure. I may request additional information (e.g. if your child has an IEP, outside evaluations, etc).
  3. If you decide to move forward, I will create a Parent Login that you will be able to use to schedule sessions, view your schedule, make payments, see your payment history, etc. I will send your login and will include policies + a summary of what you will be provided.
  4. We will work together to determine a consistent schedule and neutral location.
  5. We begin working together! You are always welcome to ask questions.

If you would like to be provided a more thorough assessment and plan of your child's needs we can discuss options before moving forward. Note that the first session will partly be spent building a rapport with your child (or you as an adult) if needed. If we are working virtually, the first couple of sessions will have some time dedicated to helping you and/or your child navigate the technology.

Empowering learners, one story at a time

My work is grounded in a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to read, write, and learn with confidence. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with youth who have struggled with literacy or learning for many different reasons. Those experiences have shaped a supportive, patient, and structured approach where learners feel understood and capable.

I offer individualized tutoring and research-based reading intervention designed to meet each learner where they are. Whether you are a parent looking for support for your child or an adult hoping to strengthen your own skills, I focus on clear instruction, encouragement, and steady progress. My goal is not just to improve reading and writing skills, but to help learners build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of independence.

I believe literacy opens doors to learning, opportunity, and self-advocacy. It's a powerful tool that can change how someone sees themselves and their future. I am committed to walking alongside each learner and family with care, clarity, and evidence-based practices every step of the way.
